Learning takes place both directly and indirectly throughout the school day. Students will participate in formal whole and small group instruction as well as open-ended play and natural hands-on learning facilitated by teachers. The greatest goal with our three-year-olds is for them to leave each day having learned something new, without having ever noticed they were in fact learning.
Learning occurs both directly and indirectly throughout the school day. Students engage in formal whole and small group instruction, as well as open-ended play and natural hands-on learning guided by teachers. Our primary objective for our three-year-olds is to ensure that they leave each day with newfound knowledge, without even realizing that they have been actively learning.
The experienced staff will highlight and enrich the areas in which students excel, while taking the time to reenforce the skills which may still be developing. A child’s first experience in a classroom can help to shape their outlook on school and their own education for the rest of their lives. This is something the Early Childhood Center staff does not take for granted, we strive to make each and every student feel loved, supported, and successful every day. And most of all we focus on growth, progress and FUN!
